Healing Salve for Dogs (4oz)

Medica is a fabulous product. I feel very comfortable putting it on my horses knowing that it will do the job effectively and not cause irritation. I love that it does not smell bad or create slimy spots. Even if I’m not able to be super consistent with application it still solves the skin issue. I also love the variety of products; different formats make it easy. It’s a safe and effective product I feel good using.

I have used the Medica products on a variety of skin issues including bacterial and fungal pyoderma and allergic skin conditions. The pet owners can see a difference after the first treatment and usually have complete resolution in 2-3 treatments. Fast, effective and pleasant to use.

My horse product cabinet resembles a well stocked tack store. I am thrilled to have found Medica Products. My current horse is an eye catching bay with four white socks. Unfortunately, keeping him ready for the show ring requires a lot of scrubbing. He developed a scratchy, crusty fungus that was sensitive. After using Medica Treatment Wash, it cleared up in days with no more irritation. Thanks to Medica I can start clearing out my products cabinet.

The Medica Salve is amazing! My horse had scratches on both fronts I just could not seem to get rid of even with trying a number or traditional treatments. Medica seems to promote healthy skin and hair growth and at the same time treat the fungus. The other products I used all seemed to treat the fungus but the skin could not heal because it was too harsh and would get reinfected. With Medica, I started seeing results very quickly!

I have used the Medica Treatment Wash on a couple of cases of rain rot. After two days of using the Wash the scabs easily and painlessly were curried off and the horses’ coats were glossy and free of any scabs. For scratches n the heels, fungus on the cannon bones or girth itch that comes with the hot weather and wet grass I use the Wash every other day to keep the skin fungus and hive free. The Lotion works great on sensitive areas (elbows and face) or horses with dark or dry coats that tend to be bald and be hard to bathe. These products are great! I‘m not sure how I ever got along without them!

I wanted to update you on our little colt Check Mate. Our little guy is doing so much better now. The ringworm is totally gone and the rapid hair growth in only 7 days was phenomenal. I have to say, I was very hesitant in your salve’s ability to cure the fungal issue. Only because we had literally spent nearly $300 in the past couple weeks, trying desperately to find a cure. Instead I have attached pictures of little Mate’s healing progression!

I am completely impressed with how the Medica Salve calmed down my horse’s chronic coronitis. When I realized he had coronitis I was told that it is a very difficult condition to control and to expect it to worsen. I started putting Medica Salve on his coronet bands, his chestnuts and his ergots and it has helped immensely. After 2-3 days of treatment with Medica, the coronets “scurf” rubs off. Furthermore, my horse was very sensitive where the coronitis was and after the Medica, he doesn’t mind me rubbing and scrubbing. He is so much happier!
